Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) on Friday responded to the United States’ order to label products that come from Judea and Samaria.

"Someone here is taking a political position. It's not that anyone woke up and reminds us of the old days. We are past the age of childhood and innocence and it is clear that someone here is trying to harm the State of Israel," Ariel told Radio Tel Aviv.

"The fact that the president of the United States is not Israel’s best friend is well known. He did not come to visit here, he was in Cairo and ‘did not find the time’ to come here. His so-called ‘mercy’ toward Pollard is well-known. He kept him in prison until the last minute. We’ve had greater friends than him in the White House and, with G-d’s help, in November there will be a greater friend than him there," he added.
