The Zionist Union is expected to bring on Wednesday before the Knesset plenum for a preliminary reading a proposed bill to break up the Knesset and advance the elections.
Nevertheless, even if the opposition succeeds in obtaining a majority vote, the vote will have no practical implications, as it is merely a preliminary vote, which does not need a majority of 61 MKs to vote in favor.
