MK Haim Yellin (Yesh Atid) responded on Tuesday to statements made by the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Settlements, Major-General Yoav Mordechai, who told a PA news agency that Israel will shut down entries into Gaza if Hamas does not stop recruiting members for terrorist purposes.
“We must act with a heavy hand and attack them (Hamas) with full force, but the solution is a combination of military and diplomatic processes. So long as we continue to supply Gaza with electricity and water, we do not separate from them, but rather we provide them with the support they need to restore their missile and tunnel stores.”
