A Be’er Sheva district court sentenced a teacher from the Negev Bedouin community of Hura to nine months in jail for expressing support for the “Islamic State” (ISIS) terrorist organization during his lessons.
The teacher indicated that he expressed support for ISIS in solidarity with Syrian civilians, not because he wanted to attack Israel.
