The US trade czar says that officials are closely following developments in Poland, after the European Union began a probe into the rule of law and Poor cut the country's credit rating.
"As a fellow democracy we do follow developments here very closely," Trade Representative Michael Froman said during a recent visit to Warsaw. "We certainly do follow it. As a democracy, we want to make sure that Poland's democracy continues to address the issues."
