The terrorist who murdered Dafna Meir in her Otniel home reportedly came up with the idea for his attack from watching Palestinian television.
The Israel Security Agency (ISA, also known as the Shabak or Shin Bet) says that the suspect watched broadcasts that depicted Israel as "killing Palestinian youths."
He was watching similar programs on the day of the attack and decided to target Otniel because of its close proximity to his home.
