Gov’t approves reduced water rates

The government approved a proposal made by Interior Minister Aryeh Deri and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon to reduce home water rates by the current VAT level to financially weaker groups.

The decision joins Minister Deri’s reform to reduce public transportation fees by the current VAT levels, which, altogether, should save financially weaker families roughly 2,500 shekels per month.
