Administrative detainee Meir Ettinger launched a hunger strike this week, in protest against the harsh conditions he claims to be held in, Maariv reports.
Ettinger has been held in administrative detention for nearly six months, as per the signed decree of Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon.
The current administrative decree against Ettinger is expected to expire in two weeks. At this time, it is unclear whether a new decree will be issued against Ettinger when the current one is no longer valid.
