Prosecutors have decided to filed charges against former Ashdod dockworkers' association head Alon Hassan. Hassan is accused of numerous offenses, including bribery, fraud, and money laundering.
Another five people are being charged as part of the same case.
Prosecutors say they intend to argue that Hassan used his position in order to convince companies to hire companies that he backed.
