Former Tzfat mayor to serve time behind bars

a Tzfat court sentenced the city’s former mayor, Oded Hameiri, to eight months in prison.

Hameiri agreed to a plea bargain regarding counts of fraud, breach of trust, accepting something fraudulently and more. He was also fined 150,000 shekels.
