The Yesha (Judea-Samaria) Council spoke out on Tuesday against statements made on Monday by US Ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro. Shapiro claimed that Israel acts differently towards Jews and Palestinian Arabs in Judea and Samaria.
The Yesha Council made it clear that residents of Judea and Samaria are law-abiding citizens who live in a challenging region and are forced to cope with harsh terrorism. The council further emphasized that actual data from “Regavim” reports indicate that there is selective law enforcement in Judea and Samaria, but that Israeli citizens are being discriminated against, not Palestinian Arabs.
