China’s Foreign Ministry responded to Saturday’s elections in Taiwan, won by the Opposition party, and declared that “What does on in Taiwan is China’s business.”
The statement further explained that China will oppose any attempt at Independence on the part of the newly elected government and that “Elections within the Taiwan district do not influence it (independence) at all.”
