President Reuven Rivlin spoke on Thursday afternoon with former President Shimon Peres,and according to a statement issued by the President’s Residence, Rivlin was “Happy to hear his voice was vibrant as usual.”
The President’s Residence indicated that at the start of the conversation, it was Peres who asked after Rivlin’s health, and the two laughed. Rivlin wished Peres a full recovery. Rivlin further told Peres that he blessed him that he should have a long life and a speedy recovery during a ceremony to swear in new judges at the President’s Residence.
