Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s attorneys are expected to meet on Thursday with State prosecutor Shai Nitzan in an attempt to reach understandings with the prosecution, to allow a hearing on appeals filed to the Supreme Court regarding the Talansky case.
The attorneys intend on promoting an agreement that both sides rescind their appeals. If that proves unsuccessful, the attorneys will ask that Olmert’s sentencing in the Talansky case be served at the same time as his sentence in the Holyland case.
