The Likud's court has unanimously decided to cancel the party's planned primaries. Instead, they will declare that Binyamin Netanyahu, who would have been the only candidate, is the party leader until the next elections.
The decision comes after an appeal against the holding of primaries due to the cost to the public. The process would have cost an estimated four million shekels ($1 million US).
