Dani Dayan, the intended Israeli Ambassador to Brazil, told Army Radio that “My appointment is not currently approved by the authorities in Brazil. To say that I am personally concerned by this? Not at all.”
Regarding claims made by former CEO of the Foreign Minister Alon Liel against him, Dayan said that “He can say that he is against the BDS (Boycott, Sanctions, and Divestments) movement, but he is still saying that Israel needs to be removed from the UN. Is that not a boycott?”
