A Rishon Letzion court extended on Tuesday by five days the remand of Ashkelon Mayor Itamar Shimoni and Ashkelon Municipality’s CEO, Chaim Sofer.

Sofer was arrested for allegedly accepting bribes, money laundering and breach of trust.
