A humanitarian aid convoy on Monday entered the besieged Syrian town of Madaya, where more than two dozen people have died of starvation, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent said.
"Two trucks carrying food and two others full of blankets entered Madaya at 5:00 pm (1500 GMT)," an official from the organization told AFP.
The supplies are being delivered to Madaya, a rebel-held town near Damascus that government forces had laid siege to for six months, as part of an agreement under which two other regime-held towns will also get aid.
