Police Commissioner Roni Alsheich has commented on the numerous new appointments to police positions. "I am happy to to set out on a new path with full rows of command staff," he wrote on the Facebook page for Israel Police.
Alsheich continued: "On one side, we have veterans with long-standing police experience. On the other side, we are refreshing the lines - both within the organization and outside of it. Completing this first round will allow us to manage consecutive rounds of appointments for every rank that needs help to refill its ranks."
