Education Committee head: Assimilation is a threat to the State of Israel

Chairman of the Education Committee, MK Yaakov Mergui, said responded to the disqualification of the book “Gader Haya” (Borderlife) from school reading lists.

“We, in the State of Israel, will fight assimilation, and the State of Israel invests a lot of efforts into (this battle). This is a strategic threat, no less important than other threats.”
