Border Police officers at the Tapuah checkpoint in Samaria noticed an Arab man acting suspiciously. They called for the man to stop, but he continued towards them.
The officers carried out the suspect detention procedure on him. During a search, they found he was carrying a knife, with which he presumably intended to carry out an attack.
The suspect is a 26-year-old man from Jenin. He has been taken for questioning.
