IDF artillery units have opened fire in the direction of Lebanon, in an effort to prevent Hezbollah from perpetrating revenge attacks for the death of Samir Kuntar.
The strikes hit open areas, and there are no reports of casualties.
The IDF has been carrying out a number of artillery strikes on the Lebanese border over the past few days.
