A central district court sentenced Eritsia Akalsongo, a Congolese man and friend of a foreign Maccabi Netanya soccer player, to life in prison.
The defendant was convicted of the first degree murder of Zehava Chikol, whose partially naked body was thrown from the Carmel Hotel in Netanya in March, 2013.
