As of Friday, any new intercity bus will be required by law to be outfitted with an automatic fire extinguishing system, meant to protect the passengers aboard the bus.
As per the new reform signed by Transport Minister Yisrael Katz, new buses will have the system installed near the vehicle’s motor. The fire extinguishing system is a new Israeli innovation.
