President Reuven Rivlin congratulated Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu) for the now-passed five-year plan for the Arab sector.
President Rivlin told Prime Minister Netanyahu that it is a historical event that shows Netanyahu has the power to make necessary changes. "This is a meaningful, fundamental, and thorough step in the aim of beginning to reduce the gaps of years. Of course, much remains to be done but the government's decision is a turning point and a confidence building measure when compared with the past, and it happened through your leadership."
He added, "The government's decision will strengthen the resilience of Israel's entire society. It will strengthen Israel's economy and improve the confidence between all Israeli citizens and their country."
