The director of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Space for the past year and a half, Ido Sharir, will leave his position at the end of January.
Sharir says, "I was privileged to take part in the work and advancement of government investment in the fields of science, technology, and space. Throughout my tenure I met with many partners, doers, and visionaries who will help the State of Israel in its future. During these days I am considering my next step in public service and pledge to continue acting on behalf of the State of Israel."
