MK Shuli Mualem-Rafaeli (Jewish Home) turned to Knesset Speaker Yoel (Yuli) Edelstein and Kneset CEO Ronen Plot with a written request to have former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s photograph removed from the Knesset walls.
“Following the ruling on a case involving former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, it is no longer appropriate for his picture to be clearly present in the house of elected officials of the Jewish nation, just like in the case of former President Moshe Katzav, who picture does not appear alongside those of former Israeli Presidents.”
