In light of the cuts expected to take place within the Jerusalem education system’s budget, the city’s municipal parents union will gather on Tuesday to weigh its next steps.
The union’s leader, Paz Cohen, made it clear that “It cannot be that the government and the municipality work with us for an entire year, raising funds and building exemplary programs, only to throw it all in the trash following a rushed and irresponsible decision. We call upon the Finance Ministry and municipality to meet and solve the crisis today.”
