A fire broke out on Monday evening in an apartment building in Jerusalem’s Bayit Vegan neighborhood. Four crews of firefighters were called to the scene and were able to extinguish the flames.
Ten people who were trapped in the building were rescued, including several infants and elderly tenants. A woman in need of medical treatment was evacuated by paramedics to the hospital.
