Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu), Construction Minister Yoav Galant (Kulanu), and Jewish Agency head Natan Sharansky have signed an agreement to build 2,650 new public housing units.
The residences will be build on land owned by the Jewish Agency that has been assigned for public use.
The construction will be carried out by the Jewish Agency, with funding from the government during the first stage.
The new homes are expected to last for the next 20 years.
