Opposition head Yitzhak Herzog (Zionist Union) has commented on Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked's (Jewish Home) Transparency Law, which the Ministerial Committee for Legislation passed.
"It is a black day for free individuals, association, and thought in Israel," he wrote on his Twitter account. "The government's decision to approve the twisted 'Association s Law' is a 'bullet between the eyes' for Israel's status in the world. Our enemies are thanking the Israeli government for putting us in line with the darkest of world countries."
