Last summer, Israel rejected the Palestinian Authority’s offer to hold secret talks on a “Palestinian State’s” borders, Kol Israel radio reports.

The reports indicate that it was suggested to hold a series of secret meetings followed by a public declaration of an agreement. It was further reported that the offer was proposed to Israel during a meeting between Minister of Interior Silvan Shalom and the PA’s Saeb Erakat last July. A negative response was returned to the PA three weeks later.
