A Jerusalem court sentenced an Arab from Jerusalem’s a-Tur neighborhood to two years in prison, for planning to join the “Islamic State” (ISIS) terrorist organization.
The terrorist left Israel for Syria in January, but was caught at the Turkish border. He admitted to the allegations made against him and was convicted within the frameworks of a plea bargain of making connections with a foreign agent and attempting to join an illegal organization.
