Combined efforts of Shin Bet (ISA, Israel Security Agency) and police forces led to the arrest of two “Islamic State” ISIS) terrorists from the Nazareth region.
Investigations reveal that the two traveled to Turkey in order to enter Syria and join ISIS forces in battle. On the Syrian border, the suspects met with migrant families fleeing from ISIS terror and decided to return to Israel.
Since their return to Israel, the two continued to expose themselves to extreme ISIS ideology via the internet and in conversation with other ISIS supporters in Israel.
