The Knesset Ethics Committee has decided to reprimand MK Moti Yogev (Jewish Home) for his statements against Supreme Court Justice Uzi Fogelman. MK Yogev's comment came after the Justice ordered the destruction of a terrorist's home be delayed.
"Supreme Court Justice Uzi Fogelman, in his ruling today to delay the destruction of the murderous terrorist's home, placed himself on the side of the enemy," Yogev said. "He defends the rights of murderers and thus prevents deterrent punishment and endangers lives."
The Ethics Committee ruled that his call to run over the Supreme Court with a bulldozer was blunt, harsh and outrageous, but did not sanction it.
