Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon signed decrees allowing for customs-free importation of selected food products and items needed for food production, in an attempt to make up for shortcomings created this year as well as to regulate future costs and enable competition.
In some of the cases, existing customs exemptions were extended and customs-free importation quotas were enlarged. In others, new exemptions were decreed.
