Combined efforts of IDF, police and Shin Bet (ISA, Israel Security Agency) forces exposed an expansive Hamas terror cell operating out of the Palestinian Arab town of Abu Deis, located east of Jerusalem. The cell was being directed by Hamas terrorists in Gaza and was planning suicide and car bombing in Israel.
Thus far, 25 members of the terror cell have been arrested, mostly students at the university in Abu Deis.
