Transport Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud) announced on Wednesday that he is giving up his annual salary bonus, as per Amendment 51 to the Knesset Law.
Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid announced on Tuesday that the members of his party will decline their annual salary bonuses.
“After the new law passed, establishing that any MK can give up his salary, we are announcing that we are giving up our salary bonuses this year. The bonus is an immoral salary increase, as we believe that this money belongs to the citizens of Israel.”
