The Ometz organization petitioned the High Court on Wednesday to cancel the Gronis Commission’s recommendation that Avichai Mandelbit be appointed to the position of Attorney General.
According to the organization, “The Gronis Commission’s work was harshly flawed, justifying the annulment of its decision. Mandelbit himself was tainted due to the Attorney General’s efforts regarding the Harpaz case and a lack of a cooling off period between positions.”
