The Police Department requests the public’s help in its search for Nirit Jacobson, a 46-year-old woman suspected of abducting her son several months ago, while she and her estranged husband were in the process of divorcing. Family court had ruled that custody would be granted to the boy’s father.
A few months ago, the mother picked her son up from school and disappeared with him. She reportedly disguises herself as a haredi (ultra-Orthodox) woman in order to run messages. She was last seen at Bnei Brak’s Maayanei Hayeshua hospital, three days ago.
