Spain's conservative Popular Party (PP) lost its majority in yesterday's (Sunday) election, though it still received a plurality of the votes.

PP received 28.7 percent of the votes, while the Socialists received 22 percent, the anti-austerity Podemos 20.6 percent, and the liberal Ciudadanos  13.9 percent.

PP head Mariano Rajo says that, over the coming days, he will work to build a stable coalition. He added that it will not be easy and that there will have to be agreements between the parties.
