Breaking: Interior Minister Silvan Shalom resigns from politics

Interior Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom (Likud) has resigned, following allegations that he sexually assaulted a worker under his authority.

Shalom says that he is leaving politics altogether.
