Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely responded to the Silvan Shalom harassment case.

“Despite the difficulty involved in complaining, there is no replacement to lodging a police complaint and going through the legal process, in order to clarify suspicions. It is important that every woman that has been harassed take care to direct herself to the legal authorities so that cases do not remain a cloud of suspicion, but rather are fully clarified. If Heaven forbid it becomes clear that the allegations are correct, there is no room in the Knesst for elected officials who hurt and harass women.”
