Belgium’s Justice Minister said that Salah Abdesalam, the terrorist who fled after the Paris attacks, spent two nights in a Brussels home, but succeeded in fleeing due to a law prohibiting security forces from raiding private homes between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
A spokesperson from the prosecution’s office said that “All that we know is that we had good reason to believe he was in the home during the night, but during the morning raid he was nowhere to be found.”
