The director of the Ministry of Communication, Shlomo Filber, has decided to impose a fine of 8.5 million shekels ($2.2 million US) on Bezeq for violating the law and for mistreating customers during its broadband reform ("The Wholesale Market").
This is the largest fine that has been given in recent years on any monopoly in Israel.
