A court has handed down a 38-month sentence to a resident of Taybeh who was involved in an attempted terrorist lynch.

During riots in the city, one person present approached Moshe German's vehicle and spoke with him in Arabic, in an alleged test to see whether German was Jewish or Arab.

The suspect then reportedly pointed the barrel of the fireworks he was holding at the car's rear window and fired. The firework began to explode while German was trapped in the now-burning car. As a result, German was badly wounded.
