A 45-year-old man who works as an insurance agent has been arrested on suspicion of defrauding his elderly customers.
According to police, the agent regularly informed his victims that a new law would entitle them to a refund from the company. He would schedule a meeting with the customer, demand a required "fee," and then disappear.
Police will bring the suspect before a Tiberias court today (Tuesday).
