A Maryland resident has been charged with receiving money from who he believed was an Islamic State supporter overseas to conduct a terror attack on US soil, the Justice Department revealed Monday.
Mohamed Elshinawy, 30, of Edgewood, Maryland, was arrested Friday on charges of providing material support to a terror organization.
