US Secretary of State John Kerry will press Moscow on the need to de-escalate tensions with Ankara after Turkish forces shot down a Russian plane at the Syrian border last month, the White House said Monday.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest said "we haven't seen any tangible escalation at this point" between Turkey and Russia, which he asserted represented "a glimmer of optimism."
