A former National Guard soldier from Illinois pled guilty in Chicago federal court on Monday to charges he conspired to provide the Islamic State terror group with material support.
Hasan Edmonds, 23, is accused of plotting with his cousin to shoot up the Illinois National Guard Armory in Joliet. Edmonds will be sentenced on March 18 and faces up to 30 years in hail.
